The Xacti CA65 combines
an exceptionally expressive 6.37-megapixel primary-color CCD
with an image-processing LSI to reduce dark noise and render
skin tones more beautifully. You’ll love this camera’s vibrant,
high-resolution photographs, whether they’re output as large
or small prints.
An original algorithm utilizing a pixel-interpolation
filter converts images collected by the 6M CCD to the recorded
equivalent of 10M (3680 x 2760 pixels). Prints as large as A3-size
can be made, or specific parts of the image can be enlarged
for detailed printing.
Detailed 6-megapixel
images can be captured at up to ISO1600. Even with shots that
easily blur—such as indoor or nighttime pictures—and
scenes where you don’t want to use a flash, colors and
expressions come out looking more natural.
The CA65 incorporates
a high-performance 5x optical zoom lens with a maximum aperture
of F3.5, allowing distant subjects to be captured in more detail.
Engaging the camera’s 12x digital zoom at the same time provides
up to 60x zooming capability.
The CA65 features
a Super Macro mode that enables you to get within 1 cm of your
subject when the lens is set to wide-angle. Magnificent close-ups
can be taken to capture tiny objects in sharp detail.
The CA65’s red-eye correction
feature lets you easily correct red-eye caused by the
flash, restoring the natural color of your subject’s eyes.
Note:
The
corrective effect may vary, depending on the subject and
shooting conditions.
Focus can be adjusted in 16 steps, along with
exposure correction of ±1.8 EV in 0.3 EV steps. You can
also adjust the sharpness and saturation of the picture to suit
the scene.
